Leda
Generation V · Queen of Sparta
An Aetolian princess who became queen of Sparta beside Tyndareus, Leda was approached by Zeus in the form of a swan on the very night she lay with her husband. From that double union came children of two fathers — some hatched, the tales say, from eggs: Helen and Polydeuces of the god, Castor and Clytemnestra of the mortal king.
