Kratos is the personification of raw strength and sovereign might, an enforcer who stands at Zeus's shoulder along with his siblings. In Aeschylus he appears as the grim overseer who, with his sister Bia, holds Prometheus down while Hephaestus reluctantly drives home the chains.
