Zelus is the winged spirit of eager rivalry, emulation, and zeal — the burning urge to contend and excel that gave English its word 'zeal'. With his sister Nike and siblings Kratos and Bia, he stands as a constant attendant beside the throne of Zeus, whom the four never leave.
