Generation V · King of the Sea
Swallowed by Cronus with his brothers and sisters and restored when the old god was compelled to give them up, Poseidon took the sea as his portion after the war against the Titans. With the trident the Cyclopes made him he stirs storms and splits the ground, earning his old title Earth-Shaker, and he never quite forgave Athens for preferring Athena's olive tree to his salt spring.
