Eurybia
Generation IV · Mastery over the sea
Hesiod remembers Eurybia as the daughter of Pontus and Gaia with a heart of flint — a goddess of the sea's iron resolve. Quiet in myth herself, she looms large as an ancestor: by the Titan Crius she bore Astraeus, Pallas, and Perses, and so stands behind the winds, the stars of dawn, and Hecate.
