Generation IV · The inquiring intellect, axis of heaven

A quiet Titan of the questioning mind, later imagined as Polus, the very pole about which the heavens turn. He wed his sister Phoebe of the bright intellect, and through their daughters Leto and Asteria he became grandfather to Apollo, Artemis, and Hecate. Like most of his brothers he was shut in Tartarus when Zeus's generation took the sky.
