Themis
Generation IV · Divine law and order
Titaness of what is right and established: divine law, custom, and the good order of assemblies among gods and mortals alike. She became the second wife of Zeus and sits beside his throne as counsellor, mother in Hesiod of the Horae and the three Fates. Tradition also gives her the oracle at Delphi before it passed to Apollo, and her scales still stand outside courthouses today.
