Eirene
Generation VI · Peace
Youngest theme of the Horae born to Zeus and Themis, Eirene is peace made a person — the season in which harvests ripen because no army tramples them. Athens loved her best of the three sisters, raising altars in her honour and a famous statue that showed her cradling the infant Ploutos, wealth itself, as if to say plenty is the child that only peace can raise.
